Just a quick note about the site.

On the left sidebar under “About Us” there is now a link that allows you to download the latest print edition of the paper. It is in Adobe’s Portable Document Format (PDF) and is about 860KB in size. This file size will vary each month.

If you don’t have the ability to view PDF files, you can download Adobe Acrobat Reader or Foxit Reader for your Windows computer.

Thank you for reading the Delhi Express.

The recent website down time was caused by an electrical transformer short. The short caused an explosion and fire at the data center that houses the servers that host DelhiExpressNews.com. Luckily, no one is reported to have been injured and the servers themselves were not damaged.

The data center was without power as a result of the explosion from late afternoon May 31st. The fire department where the data center is located instructed on-site personnel to refrain from initiating back-up power generation as the extent of the problem was not then known.

Power to the data center is still not fully restored. However, we are fortunate that our particular server was not in the worst affected area and should now remain online without further interruption.
