Submitted by Merced County Sheriff’s Department Spokesman Tom Mackenzie

Merced County Sheriff’s Detectives have recovered several items of jewelry that were believed to have been taken in the Delhi area.  Anyone who has been a victim of a burglary in the last three months and is missing jewelry is asked to come to the Sheriff’s Sub Station at Schendel and Shanks in Delhi to see if they can identify their property.

Detective Dwayne Pavelski is asking anyone to call him at (209) 385-7664 and come to the office during business hours and possibly help identify their property.

The recovery is the result on an ongoing burglary investigation in the Delhi area where several arrests have been made.  Please have a complete as description as possible before arriving at the office as it will help in the process.  If you have made a police report and have a copy of the case number, it would greatly aid in matching up the property, but is not necessary.
