Delhi Community Leader Kenneth Beard died on Tuesday, April 14. Beard had previously served on the Delhi Municipal Advisory Council (MAC) and on the Delhi Unified School District Board of Trustees. He was also a founding member of the Delhi Historical Society for which he had served as treasurer. He was a member of the Delhi Seniors Club.
A service will take place on Wednesday, April 29 at 3 p.m. at New Beginnings Christian Center on the corner of Stephens and Schendel across the street from Delhi United Drugs. A visitation will be at Allen Mortuary on Wednesday, April 29 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A graveside service will be held at Sunnyside Cemetery on Thursday, April 30 at 3:00 p.m. The graveside service will be followed by a reception and time of remembrances at Delhi Community Presbyterian Church.
